Moonlit forest gnomes .... artist - illustrator Brian Froud

Moonlit forest gnomes,
At midnight, clinging to the glades,
Fleeting, weightless,
Winking from afar us
Lures deceit;
And flickering next to us,
Disappears as soon as
Overtakes look!
But whisper about you foliage
Wordless words ...

Becoming you - ethereal sheen
Highlights, so in the dark
My flight on copses
Guessed only those
Who would trust a dream.

Stan dancing troubled spots
And then volyus into darkness,
Not subservient, not understandable
Anyone or anything -
Neither insane nor mind.
