Stanislav Plutenko and his pilgrimage to the East

Some strange, inner feelings of people indicate that the roots, very deep, ancient, reach for the East. Such thoughts do not come to everyone: not everyone is allowed to listen to themselves in such an unusual direction, if only because many no roots are of interest. Only full immersion in the present.

Stanislav Plutenko, the Russian painter known today, the East caught up in one of the narrow, tiny lanes of Istanbul - colors, smells, air and tactile sensations blended into one cocktail and prompted, in the ear: it was all there once. Since then, the eastern story has firmly taken root in his work, although, by and large, Istanbul was the final stage. And the starting point of the oriental express was the famous Russian artist Vereshchagin. Even in his childhood, young Stanislav literally froze in front of his paintings, he could stand in front of them in the galleries of the Tretyakov Gallery from morning till night. Especially he was fascinated by the "Apotheosis of War".

By the time of his birth and personal convictions, Stanislav Plutenko had to join the new avant-garde artistic trend, which replaced socialist realism. New artists moved in the direction of hyperrealistic and surreal painting, and the raid of that experience rests on Stanislav Plutenko's paintings until now. At that time he was most influenced by the work of Richard Estes, literally turned the mind. He began to fanatically study his painting technique, studied new materials, and looked for tools for himself. When everything was filigree polished, the second eastern wave, described above, came. The combination was magical. Now the pictures of this artist know how to bewitch, otherwise you will not say.
